Outdoor late summer wedding: A shoot at Oldberrow House
I mentioned in this post that I'd been involved in a project at Oldberrow House in Hampton in Arden back in September. The shoot was organised by Martina from Wonderful Events and Clare from Boutique Marquees and they pulled together a fantastic, hard working group of West Midlands suppliers to put together this shoot inspired by the season of late summer evenings and early autumn berries.
The shoot was featured by Whimsical Wonderland Weddings this month so I can now share the photos and tell you more about the floral detail. All of the gorgeous photography was by the fabulous Esme Fletcher.
I made two bouquets for the shoot; the first was this dramatic number with trailing fern, clematis and ruscus.
This bouquet was packed with dahlia 'Purple Fox', snapdragons, hydrangea, cosmos, dill flower, 'Sweet Avalance' roses, lisianthus and amaranthus.
The second bouquet was a handtied style with complementary satin ribbons. I added clover flowers, hypericum, heuchera flower and seasonal foliage to the dahlias, amaranthus and roses.
I also provided floral embellishments as the finishing touches to some of the other suppliers' beautiful work:
The mirrored table plan by Utterly Amore
The cake from Lou's With Love
And the bar by Savva Bars Company
